Han Qi (1008--1075), Zhigui, born in Xiang State(Today's Anyang city, Henan Province), was active during the peirods of Emperor Renzong, Yingzong and Shenzong, and was very popular on the political stage in the middle period of North Song Dynasty. He earned a title "General of commission-making and policy-setting during two emperors" in his royal tomb essay bestowed by Emperor Shenzong. He defended Song's territory against Western Xia, assisted three emperors and saw the crowning of two emperors, so he was praised as "the First Premier of Song Dynasty". Han Qi and Fan Chung-yen were conamed as "Han-Fan" beacause they defended Song's territory, he and Fu Bi were conamed as"Fu-Han" beacause they helped to govern kings. The personal character of Han Qi was admired and respected by many famous scholars of his time, such as Wang Zeng, Ouyang Xiu, Fan Zhongyan, Su Shi and even by his political opponents Wang Anshi.There exist about seven hundred poems written by Han Qi now. The main reviews of Su Shi, "Selected Poems of the Song Dynasty" and "Studies on the General Index of the Complete Works of the Four Libraries"on his poems were highly. These reviews combined Han Qi's poetry and its style. Han Qi's poems reflected his own personalities by the embedded meaning.The history books recorded the personality traits of Han Qi objectively. But a more delicate and complicated Han Qi can be read from his poems. Taking this as an entry point, this article reproduced a real Han Qi from the perspective of the Mutual Interpretation between Han Qi and his Poetry. The social and political environment of North Song Dynasty as a background of this article, combination of North Song Dynasty literati of the mental history, to poetry to study, to historical records, notes that the material for Mutual Interpretation between Han Qi and his Poetry, so to overall display Han Qi's subtle spiritual world.This artical preface part introduce Han Qi research from two aspects of history and literature, and explain the theory that this article use to mutual interpret between Han Qi and his Poetry: poetry expree poet's mind and poetry form emotion. Making history books and notes for the material, Chapter One review of Han Qi's personalities which express in everyday life and political life: integrity, loyalty, staid and tolerance. Chapter Two analyzed a special section of Han Qi's poems with themes related to drinking, flowers-appreciating, friends-making, and the Buddhist temples. The first section analyzed his nearly 200 poems about drinking to discovered the joy of Han Qi drinking: quiet elegance, hero ambition, express feeling.The second section analyzed his poems that sang chrysanthemums, peony, lotus and falling flowers to found Han Qi worth pursuing on his life. The third section analyzed Han Qi's friendship poems with Du Yan, Wen Yanbo, Fan Zhongyan, Fan Chunren, Ouyang Xiu and so on, to explore the relationship between political and life. The forth section analyzed Han Qi's Zen Poem during he as prime minister and out of the prime minister to research his old mentality. Chapter Three analyzed the style of Han Qi's poems: affinity with the people, grace and elegance, deep-thought, freshness.From different angles analyzed Han Qi poetry ideological content and art characteristics, refracting multifaceted Han Qi, making Han Qi of the full and true. In order to fully grasp the complicated, subtle mentality conveyed in Han Qi poetry, and more accurately reproduce a real Han Qi, The conclusion briefly summarized the status quo of the spreading and researches on Han Qi and his poems. Introduce Han Qi story spread of the contemporary, Han Wei Gong ancestral temples and Zhou Jin college's built and destroyed, Han Qi grave was found, and the spread of Han Qi poetry in song, yuan, ming ,qing, modern and contemporary.
