Newspapers have played an important role both in traditional media and the modern media. Newspapers ads rely on newspapers media, and also play an important role, on the one hand it supports the development of the media business, the other it provides consumers for an important way to convey information. This subject of research the characteristic and situation of "Modern Evening Times", which is a local newspaper in Harbin City, and proposes a kind of more effectively design method for "Modern Evening Times ".This article first introduces ROI principle on ads creation, AIDMA, DAGMAR advertisements readers'psychological evaluation model and ARF ads medium evaluation model, analyzing the factors effecting newspaper ads. Secondly it researches evaluation method for newspaper ads, which is according to ads readers and medium, and then concludes the inherent relationship between them. Finally, it designs and creates ads for"Modern Evening Times", which according to the practical situation and the character of Harbin"Modern Evening Times". The ads are designed with the"vision centered"method, at last 4 estate ads and questionnaire showing the ads reasonable and feasible.In summary, this paper propose a newspapers ads design technique for the "Modern Evening Times " by theoretical studying and practical testing, which can provide the reference for design and creative ads for "Modern Evening Times " in future.
