Chinese civilization has long been"etiquette civilization", so,it is the unique element of traditional culture,and is the primary feature to other civilization in world. Therefore, etiquette has more position in origin of Chinese civilization. However,because the civilization has longer history, we have forgotten much ancient etiquette. But we can recover them by archaeology. Hongshan Culture is important one of prehistoric civilization in north part of china,it has about 6500~5000 history. So,we can acquire more value to research Chinese civilization beginning by it. From the investigation of Hongshan Culture, Liang-chu Culture and Lung-shan Culture and the record in"Zhou Li","Yi Li"and"Li ji", we may make a conclusion that the etiquettes of Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties have been developed in Neolithic age. The ruins of altar,goddess temple and the gaitian cosmography in Hongshan Culture may be a proof.This research is divided into four parts. First, there is summary that discovered from the Hongshan Culture in archaeological excavation. Next,the paper focuses on some questions which is in the research of prehistoric etiquette civilization,for example,"what is the etiquette","what is the essence of etiquette","what is the meaning of etiquette"and"when Chinese etiquette was created"and so on. Meanwhile, the paper analyses the elements of ancient etiquettes in this way, re-acknowledges the prehistoric society. In the third part, it is an analysis about of the ceremonial construction ruins of Hongshan Culture in the northeast China region. Last, there is a general survey of the etiquette of Hongshan Culture. It mainly researches some peculiar unearthed artifacts.
