They distributed maily in mountainous and hilly areas and centralize in hodiernal Zaoxi,Shixi,Liuxi,Xita,Ganfang,Shangfu,Zaoxia,Yangshan towns and so on. And they engaged in farming ,papermaking, ect. With the power of immigrants, they united and sent an application to the local government of Qing dynasty for the establishment of an independent household registration system, which called Guide. Their aim was to gain national identity and strive for more social resources. This study collates relevant literature such as genealogy and inscriptions and tries to show the process of"shed people"changing to"Guide". The establishment of household registration system"Guide"makes immigrants obtain national identity in Fengxin which immigrants power is relatively weak. At the same time, two groups come into being .One is immigrants group, the other is natives group. But no large-scale conflicts happened due to the great disparity between native population and immigrants. After the immigrants obtained household registration ,they actively participated in local affairs and blended in the local society to try their best to improve their own social status on one hand, and they also gradually constructed and strengthened their ethnic identity to improve their self-confidence. Until Daoguang era, this identity became to form. The study is going to enrich immigrant history and local history of jiangxi province and provide new academic thoughts and evidence material for understanding the whole history of Qing dynasty.
