In this paper the author make experimental to analyze and contrast the errors between Chinese students and non-Chinese students of Medan, Indonesia who acquire the initials, finals and tones of Mandarin, and provide some suggestion on teaching Chinese as the second language.The results of this research show that the difficulties on the Chinese pronunciation between non-Chinese students and Chinese students vary widely. In the initials acquisition, the errors of Chinese students focus on frontal-alveolar affricate and post-alveolar affricate, they are easy to be errors in post-alveolar affricate for frontal-alveolar affricate, while the errors of non-Chinese students focus on aspirated, they are easy to be errors in aspirated for unaspirated. In the finals acquisition, the errors of Chinese students and non-Chinese students both focus on e[γ],-i(?),-i (?) and u[u], u[y], when e[γ],-i(?),-i(?) constitute with frontal-alveolar affricate and post-alveolar affricate that will esay to be errors; when u[u], u [y] constitute with frontal-alveolar affricate or palatal affricate that will esay to be errors. In the tones acquisition, the errors of Chinese students focus on the 3rd tone, while the errors of non-Chinese students is dispersed, except the 4th tone.
