Compared with the study on the Imagologie of European Comparative Literature, China started late on this issue. However, after more than twenty years unremitting efforts, Chinese scholars have achieved certain research achievements in the theoretical and practical level. During the course of research, most scholars mainly analyze the image of China and foreign countries from the perspective of literature, with relatively unitary research methods and angles, as well as concentrated research fields; On the other hand, the theory research is not systematic and perfect enough. Therefore, the scale and the depth of research still need further expansion.Interdisciplinary Studies is an important trend of development in the study on the Imagologie of contemporary comparative literature, which has also provided the theoretical and practical basis for the introduction of mass communication. Consequently, this thesis based on the research results of the Imagologie of Comparative Literature, tries to make a breakthrough point by the use of "Agenda-setting theory" and "Persuasion theory", making a tentative exploration on the study of the Imagologie of Comparative Literature. This thesis hopes that by the introduction of mass communication, opening a new vision to the study of the Imagologie of the Comparative Literature, in order to provide the possibility to offer new theoretical support for Imagologie study. Furthermore, the Imagologie study will contribute to enrich research method and perspective, broaden research field, so as to lead the scale and depth of the Imagologie developing towards the depth direction.
