Lettered words are borrowed in meaning, sound and shape to enter the modern Chinese vocabulary system. There are many ways of lettered word's classification:the position of letters and Chinese characters; the amount of letters; the form of letters; the view of purity. As for the development of lettered words, they now constitute a part of the Chinese lexicon. They will develop in pace with the development of society, just as other parts of the lexicon do. Lettered words are constantly produced, and some old words will disappear simultaneously. In the process, many media remark that it is a kind of "pollution" "erosion", or "replacement". In linguistics, there is a phenomenon called "conversion", which is converted from one grammatical class into another. For example, a word can be converted from noun into verb.As it developed, more and more lettered words are accepted by the authoritative communicate carrier.
