The study tries to inquire into the impact of internal protective factors (traits of personality) and external protective factors (social support) to children migrant with peasant workers by means of comparative research between children migrant with peasant workers of different resilience groups, and also between children migrant with peasant workers and urban residents'children.The questionnaire method is used in the study. There are about 435 children migrant with peasant workers as research objects and 474 urban residents'children as referents from four public schools in Fuzhou(three in rural-urban fringe zone and one in urban zone), took part in the study. First of all, the study analyses the result from demographic variables of children migrant with peasant workers such as gender, age, grade and so on. Then, the study tries to work over the difference in resilience, social support and traits of personality between the children migrant with peasant workers of different resilience groups, also between children migrant with peasant workers and urban residents'children, and centers on analyzing and approaching the correlation between resilience and social support, also between resilience and traits of personality; There are some principal conclusions in the study:1. There are significant correlation between resilience and social support of children migrant with peasant workers, also between resilience and traits of personality of children migrant with peasant workers;2. There are significant difference in social support and traits of personality between the children migrant with peasant workers of different resilience groups (P<0.001);3. There are significant difference both in resilience variable and its two dimensions (familiy support and interpersonal assistance) and two dimensions of traits of personality (agreebleness and openness) between children migrant with peasant workers and urban residents' children. And there is no significant difference in social support and its dimensions between children migrant with peasant workers and urban residents' children;4. Social support takes effect on resilience by means of the traits of personality, and traits of personality is the mediational variable between social support and resilience.
