Till recently, people have done a lot of achievements about direction preposition. However, the research about acquisition is void. In this paper we do research in the aspects of semantic and syntax. We make a detailed analysis about a one year and two months old to five-year-old child's acquisition of direction preposition and try to do a reasonable explanation about this. This paper is composed of 7 parts. Part 1 is a foreword. Part 2 to Part 6 separatly analyze the acquisition instances of these direction prepositions:"cong""wang""xiang""chao""dui".Part7 is to make a compare of the above prepositions and do a summary. We make it clear that child acquire different direction prepositions in dissimilar stages. The acquisition sequence is:"cong" (1;10.11)>"wang" (2;05;19)>"dui" (2;10;15)> "chao" (3;11;04)> "xiang" (4;02;17)It is considered in this paper that, the output of a child is highly related to the input of adults. Besides, there are several other factors that affect the output of the child, such as child's psychogenic trait, cognitive developmental level and grammaticalization. That's why some of the output is not exactly matched with input. And we conclude that the later children acquire the direction preposition, the fewer errors children make.
