Chinese western films have repeatly got international awards, which is closely related with the fact that they have created many touching images of peasants. Both the unique aesthetic connotation and deep humanity history in the early Chinese western films are expressed by the western peasants. Although due to the remoteness and backwardness of living circumstances, as well as the deep influence of traditional farming culture and patriachal clan system, the peasants' acceptance of new stuff tends to be conservative.
