As a research focus on professional psychology,work engagement came from Kahn's study of individual engagement.It is members make self-control to combined with the job role.Staff express and using himself from the physical, cognitive, emotional when in engagement.It is composed of three dimensions:vigor,dedication,and absorption.From the domestic research literature on work engagement,it founds that the focus of the study focused on the business object staff,school teachers,hospital nurses,and other groups,the empirical research on work engagement relevant government authorities is almost empty.in the context of Chinese culture characteristics,this study using the empirical method to explore the organizational climate,job satisfaction,work engagement,and then analyzes the relationship among them three based on the current research,and to explore the job satisfaction the role it played by intermediaries.In this study some standard research methods,such as literature review,literature and survey were used in the research.In addition,exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factory analysis were also applied for data analysis.About 600 employees in 16 different kinds of goverment departments in China were surveyed.The main conclusions are as following:First,the levels for work engagement of the civil servants are commly high.Second,the civil servants with different demography factors have different influences on their job satisfaction,organizational climate and work engagement.Third,the organizational climate and job satisfaction are positively correlated with work engagement.Finally,organizational climate can influence their job satisfaction and work engagement directly.Job satisfaction efficacy exerts a partial mediating effect between organizational climate and work engagement.Current limitations and future research orientation were also discussed at the end of the dissertation.
