The Study Of Soviet Image In Chinese Literature About The Anti-Japanese War

The Anti-Japanese War literature is an important part of Chinese literature.The works have so many subjects and types that the foreign images are also plentiful and varied.The study of foreign images in the Anti-Japanese War literature conduce to comprehending and tracing the trend of the politics and the literature during the Anti-Japanese War furtherly,thereby providing a reference to the Sino-foreign cultural dialogue.The thesis,taking Imagology or Image Studies,the branch under the discipline of Comparative Literature,as an entry-point ,selecting the concrete texts of the Anti-Japanese War literature during from the Mukden Incident in 1931 to the end of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945,observes the historical and cultural context of the formation of Soviet image, researches the whole image of the Soviet and the character image of the Soviet in a systematic way,while on the basis of parallel comparison,focuses on"The Discourse of The Self"of Chinese people under the observation of Soviet image,thereby analyses Chinese society and culture in the wartime.The thesis consists of three parts:the introduction, the main body and the conclusion.The introduction mainly explains the significance of the study,the difinition and selection of the texts and the current situation of the interralated theory study.The main body expatiates on three chapters.Chapter One analyses the historical and cultural context of the formation of Soviet image. Chapter Two scutinizes Soviet image by unscambling the the concrete texts, which is divided into the whole image of the Soviet and the character image of the Soviet . Chapter Three,taking the therories of"Social Collective Imagination"and"Utopia", explores China as the"Self"and its society and culture of that time reflected by Soviet image,and evaluates the image in the aesthetic way.The conclusion mainly makes a summary about the main body, and sketches out the realistic significance of the study of Soviet image in the Anti-Japanese War literature on the current culture comparison study.
