There are massive narrative works with first person"I"in Wang Shuo's novels,"I"have two meanings: First, this is a kind of narrative angle of view,"I"is the relator in the novel. Second,"I"is a novel character, sometimes the whole show, or a minor character. Characters in novels have close relationship with the author and they are the author's mind projection, as well as the"life on the paper"which created by the author. Abrams , a scholar of America believed in "Mirror And Lamp" that the literature should have four essential factors: world, writer, work and reader. We could understand the writer and his"world"through the works. What does I do is to seek for the real author through out studies of the relator"I"and the novel character"I", inquiring into the real author's inner world. Only by this way, the cultural password from the explanation of novels could land on feet, all explanations could find the foothold, then study Wang Shuo's creative psychology, inquire into his inner world and search for the the access of literary production.I only choose the first person narrative works of Wang's for the convenience of study, then divide them into the following four times according to their creation time's difference:First, enthusiasm and confuse——"I"in pure sentiment period. In this period, Wang Shuo involved in literary arena originally, wrote some romance stories, like "Stewardess", "Will forever lose My Love" ,"Emerges Sea level". Although these works are not mature, the narrative view already have a distinctive quality, and Wang Shuo already had a characteristic personality, that he was good at telling stories. The relator is also quite unique, using"I", this horizontal angle of view to narrate some personal lives, emotions, which are trivial, but are actually warm and happy. The character"I"in these novels also have the quality of pure sentiment, goodness, and nicety, while also is being full of enthusiasm and confuse. Second, big-hearted and resist——"I"in troubleshooterperiod .In this period, Wang Shuo had already stood firmly in literary arena, asking for new and changing the style and created many works of his unique style. In a series of works——"a Spot Proper Also Does not Have", "Rubber Person", "Half Is Flame Half Is Sea water", "Plays Is Palpitation", which are the continuation of "The Trouble Shooters"("The Trouble Shooters" will not be studied in this article for it isn't first person narrative work)——Wang Shuo described the life of trouble shooters, hoodlums and ruffians with facetious language. It is said that the trouble shooters described in the works are Wang Shuo's friend and himself.Third, loss and helpless——"I"in a unit of society. In this period, Wang Shuo had already made a name for himself, simultaneously developed in the film and television circles, participated and planed out massive film and television play's manufactures, his influence also achieved a crest with the aid of the film and television's strength. There are different angle of view in the novels like "Satisfies a craving Dies", "Mr. Xu", "Moron". What narrated in "Satisfies a craving Dies" is love and marriage of"I", but in "Mr.Xu" and "Moron", is others' story,"I"is only a minor character and observer. But the"I"in these novels without one exception have a work is similar to a commis, no longer the trouble shooters and ruffians who are idly.Fourth, cruelty and warmth——"I"in"childhood".In Wang Shuo's works, always have a happy memory about"the childhood", but really wrote"the childhood"life cosmically was from "Fierce starts from Animal", this work absorbed the post -modern technique, the relator jumped out the story to tell the reader that"I"was fictionalizing a novel, confusing the relation of reality and fabrication, let us hard to distinguish right or false. Then wrote "Little Red Flowers" ,a recollection of childhood life, but the leading character Qiangqiang had a adult angle of view of Wang Shuo, that was more unique. There are warm memories in"the childhood"as well as brutal memory in puberty. Meanwhile, Wang Shuo gradually fade out people's sight as a writer.Through the analysis of above four periods'works of Wang Shuo, using the two functions which"I"undertakes in his works: the relator and the novel character, to trace to its source, to seek for"the real author's"inner world, decipher Wang Shuo's"creation password".
