For more than 30 years,Wang Anyi has been famous for her high productivity of works.From“Wenwen”to“Wang Qiyao”,from“Xiaobaozhuang“to“Shanghai”,Wang Anyi has created unique characters and spaces.In her literary world,the"learned person"is an important part.But in current research,scholars only pay attention to the intellectual youth,so that we can build a broader view.This thesis chooses seven novels that were written before 21^st century.From which could comprehensively interpret Wang Anyi's concern for the existence of this group.The"learned person"on marginal state could see the hypocritical and backward side of their daily life through the perspective of modern civilization.They were trapped in the isolation and loneliness however that can construction their spiritual space.They had different choice when under the influence of historical torrents such as degenerate or overcome.In addition the intellectual women had different value dimensions of relationship and family.Their loss and reconstruction of female consciousness were reflects on the match between subjective and objective world.This thesis analyses the image characteristics,shaping methods and spiritual connotations of the"learned person"in Wang Anyi's novel to summarizes her attitude towards the group of"learned person"and their practical significance.
