Huainanzi Taoism as a core of the book that compose pre-Qin philosophers financial theory, and the combination of history and reality of the social ideas and theories expound views. The system is huge, which relates to the political, military, astronomy, geography, culture, education, ethics and other aspects, which cover very wide vocabulary. The book can fully reflect the characteristics of the Western Han Dynasty spoken, with a corpus of high value.In this paper, Huainanzi monosyllabic verbs as the research object, on which syllable verbs exhaustive combing of the monosyllabic verb summarized 964, and then make a analysis and comprehensive description from both syntax and semantics of these verbs. We hope to enrich the Huainanzi and the study of Chinese verbs reference for the Chinese parts of speech verbs and Dating of Ancient Chinese corpus and to provide some reference data.The first part of this article works on Huainanzi and the verb research, the purpose and significance of topics are introduced.Huainan zi is a master of content and intellectual work, but the language of research is also inadequate.So far, nobody make a research on monosyllabic Verb monographs or grammar.Finally, Special grammar book is the history of Cinese studies.The second part of the study according to the theory of the verb to determine the Huainanzi in the criteria of the verb is "lexical-grammatical categories", about the basic meaning of the word with the morphology, syntax unified. And then we determine the statistical standard monosyllabic verb, which involves words and kinds of problems for the attributive verb problems, parts of speech issue, interchangeable characters and ancient word problems, issues citations and corpus six aspects of the problem. On this basis, the comprehensive reference of each verb category theory, we choose the 964 monosyllabic verbs into action verbs, characters traits verbs, relationships, and auxiliary verbs four categories.The third part of Huainanzi in the monosyllabic verb parsing. According to the classification of verbs, respectively, with guests from the case of verbs, the verb in the sentence made by the ingredients were analyzed.
