| Popular-Science Animation is a special type of animation. The aim of Popular-Science Animation is to transfer scientific information. The Popular-Science Animation is widely used in Popular-Science Film and teaching.At present, there are three problems of Popular-Science Animation:1. The growing demand and the lack of theory;2. The members of the creative team is complex, and non-professional people become the main author of animation for teaching;3. The wrong use modes of the popular-science animation.Based on the three problems, this paper tries to find the relevant solutions. This research is mainly divided into the following parts:1. In the chapter entitled Concept of Popular-Science nimation , at first, this paper tries toanalyze the development of animation, and find the contradiction between the advanced technology and backward theory. Then, based on the analysis of the education animation and popular-science film, this paper tries to distinguish the popular-Science Animation from the multifarious background, and give it a clear conception.2. In the chapter of udio-visual Language Analysis of Popular-Science nimation , this paperaimed at solving the problem of the larger demand of Popular-Science Animation and lack of relevant literature work. This paper is intended to offer a survey on the traditional audio-visual language and animation audio-visual language. Then, the paper supplies the purpose, design ideas, authenticity definition and expression method of Popular-Science Animation. There are two kinds of Popular-Science Animation: the Popular-Science Animation in Popular-Science Film, the Popular-Science Animation in teaching and learning. This paper tries to analyze the characteristics of this two animation types. This paper tries to find the connections between Visual Thinking Theory, Gestalt psychology and the audio-visual language of Popular-Science Animation. Also, this paper offers analyze and summary of the rules in the audio-visual language of Popular-Science Animation with the application of cognitive load theory and information processing psychology.3. In the third chapter of The Creation and pplication of Popular-Science nimation sAudio-visual Language , the paper studies on the two problems of creation team and theway of using it starting with the analyze of the current situation of the creation and application of Popular-Science Animation.
