Audio-visual Teaching And Research Of Chinese Language Teaching

The topic of this thesis is Audio-Visual Teaching in Chinese education. Itdiscusses how a teacher can satisfy the needs of Teaching Chinese as a SecondLanguage through audio-visual teaching and the learning effects of the students. First,it states the concept of audio-visual teaching, development of audio visual instructionalmedia, and the need of audio-visual teaching in Teaching Chinese as a SecondLanguage; Next, is the design of actual teaching methods of audio visual teaching basedon the above mentioned theories of audio visual teaching. In this, several teachingmethods, which can be used in an actual classroom is suggested. Some of those methodsare using pictures, objects and videos; Finally, based on the above mentioned teachingmethods, training methods of “watching”,“listening”, and “speaking” Chinese issuggested. I hope this thesis will be significant in research of audio visual teaching inTeaching Chinese as a Second Language and to be of aid in future researches.
