Longquan Celadon History Of Technology-based Development Of Thinking

In our history, the fire time, range and quantity of celadon are incomparable for other porcelain; its influence goes without saying. The appearance of celadon marked the birth of porcelain, even more valuably, raw materials in different area and the process of celadon in each period are different create a bright celadon culture in China.With rapid economic expansion and the revival of the traditional culture, all the research of celadon is gradually progressing. Longquan celadon is epitomized and goes out of historical slump gradually. Display celadon develop vigorously, but the development of Longquan celadon in daily use is relatively slow and the technology development of celadon is also needs to be innovative. This study based on the analysis of ancient celadon kiln which from the technical development, combined with a large number of experiment of Longquan display celadon process test and the development of Longquan celadon in daily use and then puts forward some thoughts. I draw the following conclusion:1. The development of Longquan celadon has two thinking:①In order to expand the production for Longquan daily use celadon should carry out the standardized production, but in Longquan area, the raw materials not standardized production and the standardization production of glaze is difficult.②Expanding by celadon technology to increase disparity of Longquan display celadon.2. The dispose of archaized celadon glaze can be through the chemical composition of sample and initially drafted formula. According to several changes affect celadon glaze to determinate the optimum formula.3. The optimized Longquan celadon glaze recipe below①The formula of green glaze: the concentration of porcelain stone, quartz, calcite, reddish purple clay,and wollastonite is 45%, 17%, 5%, 15% and 18%.②The formula of pink green glaze: the concentration of porcelain stone, quartz, calcite, reddish purple clay and wollastonite is 53%,18%,7%,8% and 14%。③The formula of pea green glaze: the concentration of porcelain stone, glaze ,quartz, calcite, reddish purple clay and wollastonite is 20%,17%,12%,9%,30% and 12%.4.The Longquan celadon on the foundation of innovation in adornment still should notice the process of inheritance and innovation. The research including the configuration of grey glaze, new celadon glaze, the reference of celadon kiln and excavation in defect beauty which can become the subject of artists in Longquan.
