The Explloration And Performance Of Longquan Celadon Craft In Contemporary Ceramic Creation

Longquan,located in Zhejiang Province,is famous for celadon.Celadon appeared and developed from the Jin Dynasty,reached a peak in the Song Dynasty,and then declined gradually in the Ming and Qing dynasties.It can be said that Longquan celadon has its unique characteristics of the times in different periods.Today,Longquan celadon is still showing a good face of forward development.In addition,there are more and more young people begin to engage in the celadon industry.But at the same time,in the rapid development of modern society,people's living standards are generally improved and the aesthetic ability of cultural products is also improved,putting forward higher requirements of the aesthetic of celadon.Therefore,the questions about how to seek a breakthrough in the contemporary Longquan celadon,how to base on the present and make innovative design are also the problems that every celadon practitioner is facing at this stage.As a Longquan person as well as a graduate student majoring in ceramics,dedicating to the design of Longquan celadon must be the focus of my professional research and my mission.In this graduation project,my two sets of works are the use of Longquan celadon technology to produce contemporary ceramic art.Because of the particularity of celadon production technology and aesthetic uniqueness,as a creator,I must make good use of celadon as a special material.I need to display the expression of contemporary ceramic in external form and strive to show the original characteristics of celadon in my works.This is a challenge for me,but it is also the biggest research significance of this subject.
