Study On Space Morphology Of Character Design In Fresco

The development of society and science is not only broadening human knowledge horizon but also effecting the change of aethestic standard. The notion of present fresco cannot be defined by traditional fresco. It has become the special spiritual culture and visual feast among public artistic sights, which supplying spiritual needs of people. With whole production capability of society developing, fresco design promotes itself progressively with the times. Therefore, the development of fresco design theories must correspond to the life and thinking mode that changes more and more rapidly. By now, the development of society should not only inherit artistic essence and profound cultural deposits of excellent ethnic traditional fresco, but also develop towards diversity and multiformity with help of modern technique. As a kind of visual element, the application of character design in fresco brings more creation in both content and form of fresco. At the same time, through constructing methods of different space morphology, characters make reasonable space arrangement and show different space visual effects with their form, meaning and space morphology, which express ideas of frescos better and promotes cultural artistic temperament.By summarizing and analyzing the unique artistic characteristics of characters' morphological property, this thesis excavates the relation between characters and fresco design, explores and researches character's space morphological characteristics in fresco design. Combined with cutline and argument analysis, this thesis explores and studies space characteristics of characters applied in fresco design, to generalize artistic method of characters'constructing space morphology in fresco design. The last chapter is the conclusion which summarizes applied value of character space morphology in fresco design, further analyzes this kind of applying trend and proposes an outlook of this application in order to provide new inspiration for diversity development of fresco design.
