Notwithstanding being the mainstream of the films during the Anti-Japan War, the study of the Films in Main Rear Area (FMRA) in the history of Chinese film is still weak even now, and its visage is not clear yet. Based on a panorama scan of FMRA and ,on the methodologies of detail research, cultural research, relevant research , in the confirm of the special historical and cultural features that FMRA backed on, this paper totally presents a vivid vision and complex milieu of FMRA, and therefore offers a more accurate, rational and profound explanation to FMRA. For the direct interference of social-cultural ethos and political ideology have been explicitly and profoundly presented in the texts of FMRA, as to the description of FMRA, this paper employs the approach of a whole historical narration, especially focuses on politics, culture and aesthetics as well.This paper can be divided into five sections as the followings: Section One , How Did the FMRA Came into Being, mainly discusses that during the Anti-Japan War, under the facial presentation that the FMRA were with great characters of time, politics, propaganda and educating, the presentation itself contained deep and multiple value of spirit, emotion and culture. By the discussion on the multi-relationships between or among films, war, revolutionary and the intelligences, it is revealed in this chapter that how the FMRA came into being. And a rational explanation to it is also given..
