Moliere is the representatives of the French classical comedy writers in seventeenth century, and he is also a comedy master as screenwriter, director and actor. Moliere's comedies are involved in various classes of French society at that time, with a strong flavor of the times; his comedies convey the ideology of democracy and equality which is beyond that era. He often used identity hiding skills, break in the level of insuperable class limits, his comedies is highly critical.Scholars achieved fruitful results about Moliere's works and the characters type in our country. However, the study of the Moliere comedy in the form is slightly weak. From the domestic point of view of the papers, for Moliere comedy there is no paper with the identity hiding as a starting point, while identity hiding in Moliere comedy is usual, can not ignored as the comedy skills. This paper based on identity hiding, and had a detailed classification, in order to explore comedy function, and finally with Bakhtin's carnival theory, discussed the role of irony and extension of the identity hiding penetrate deeply. The paper hopes to provide one critical view and practical text for interpreting the works of Moliere comedy and similar works.The whole paper is divided into five parts:Introduction, this part introduces the status quo of Moliere comedy creation since the thirties of the twentieth century in our country. Early studies of Moliere are mainly about biographies and works of comments. Mainly from the eighties of last century, scholars focus on analysis of Moliere Comedies features and typical character image. Into the twenty-first century, scholars pay more attention in the form research and comparative studies. This paper points that the value and significance of techniques that hide the identity, on the base of the synthesis of information on research.Part one, this part sorts out the identity hiding of the Moliere comedy. Firstly, I grouped identity hiding into three categories: class posing; gender posing; professional posing. Class posing is further divided into nobility class posing and civilians posing. For exploring the purpose of hiding identity of the comic character, it was divided into hiding for personal identity and for others to hide the identity. Part two, the second part is from hiding the identity and comedy situation, hiding the identity of the character of the comic created to explain the comedy function of identity hiding in Moliere comedy. Firstly, the author discusses techniques to hide the identity of comedy produce a series of misunderstanding and suspense, while misunderstanding and expectation-style suspense construct a crisp, light comedy situation. Secondly, the author discusses the relationship between the hiding identity and comic characters. It will summarize forming the way of comic characters as follows: the words and deeds contrary to the characters, lines of duplicity, intent and effect of phase separation.Part three, the third part mainly studies the relationship between identity hiding and the carnival. First of all, hiding the identity of Moliere comedy formed a universal feast of the carnival, and then in-depth discussed the identity of irony, subversion authority, resolving differences. Secondly, to explore the migration of carnival, that is generated by hiding the identity extension and education role. Hiding the identity of positive character triggered laugh, certainly on behalf of the positive power of laughter; hiding the identity of the villain-induced laughter, on behalf of the sneering power of laughter.Conclusion, this is the summary of the full text, noting the shortcomings of research.
