Naturalism was a literary movement taking place from 1860s to 1980s and then went to its peak in France. With the broad impact Naturalism literary spread to the Germany, Italy, Russia, the United States, Japan, China and many other countries. Though Naturalism in any countries is not exactly the same with the national circumstances and creative writers, in general they cannot surpass in Zola's basic system of the Naturalism by expound theory or practice to creation. Zola is the most important exemplar of the literary school of naturalism and an important contributor to the development of theatrical naturalism.so we should start with Zola's literature.The paper consists of three parts. The first part is Zola's life experiences; Zola's contribution to naturalism; Zola's Naturalism theory. The second part is the background, plot, characters and literary value of the Germinal. And the third part we discuss the narrative features in this specific literature by analyzing the authenticity, objectivity and scientific of he Germinal.
