Research On Urban System Of Hohhot From Ming And Qing Dynasty To The Period Of The Repuclib Of China

This paper will take historical research time dimension combines with the geography research with spatial dimensions, attempting to adopt documents and textual research, map analysis, assumptions and demonstration, phenomenon and pattern induction, quantitative statistical analysis and multidisciplinary methods, by consolidating literatures in different historical periods of Ming, Qing dynasties and Min Public, modern and contemporary dynasty, with taking a comprehensive review combing for the evolution process of Huhhot's urban system since latest 600 years from Ming dynasty to Min Public, makes a general description of the development of urban areas of Hohhot phased characteristics of internal and external factors driving bases the former research, discusses deeply in the urban system spatial distribution pattern, development evolution characteristics, different stages and the mechanisms within each stage of Ming and Qing dynasties and Min Public three historical periods.The author has following understandings through research:first, the occurrence and evolution of Huhhot urban systems were determined by basic (?)ditions of city development and external driving factors together. Second, in spatial dimensions side, the diversity of the spatial distribution of the (?)hot urban area reflects the differences of historical periods and the (?)orences of space factors'influences, and the social economic strength for (?)rbati development of the differences between them. Thinking from the time dimension side, Hohhot region was obviously presented urban development phases from the Ming to Qing dynasty. It made through the develop process (?)ui a single town to complex urban system development. The fact that the function of the city evolves from simple to complexity, and the isolated urban system gradually becomes a mutually connected one, which also reflects the (?)mmon rule of the urban system development process. Finally, this paper analyses according to the general rule of city historical development evolution:the history of evolution of urban development of Huhhot region, is not only confined to the urban development itself, but also is of national opposition, migration and fusion, and the history the primitive agriculture and animal husbandry transforming to modern industrial and commercial, and the history of foreign military struggle to internal regional development integration. There was a fundamental course clue had been implied through different historical stages, in the complicated history of the development process of the urban system, that is, the agricultural economy and rural society were developing synchronously.It is proved by the history experience, that the rural and agricultural development as a solid foundation of Huhhot urban system evolution, the Town and Rural is a unified system and non-separable. We have studied, during the working of urbanization, have to coordinate and overall development of both the cities and countryside as well.
