According to relationship between Thailand and China have been continuous developed and improved. Chinese language has more acquired knowledge of the international economy. A growing number of foreigners start learning Chinese. People realize the importance of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, including Thailand. In recent years, Chinese teaching has been popular in Thailand. The Thai Government also supported and developed for Chinese teaching. Even though, current Chinese teaching in Thailand is the best timing but it's still have many problems such as it has no unity of Chinese education system, lack of instructional media, has no various teaching method and especially in Thailand has lack of Chinese teacher and also efficient personal. All the problems are most barriers which are affecting to develop Chinese teaching in Thailand. If we do not hurried to solve the problems, in the future, it will be difficult to develop Chinese education in Thailand.As they said that"Teacher is the heart of school"which the efficiency will be affected directly to school, therefore this thesis has selected the research of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University as a research sample. The analyzing of research documentations, questionnaire and interviewing to study the current situation and get the causes and problems the efficient teacher improvement with provide solutions of Thai University.This thesis is mainly composed of 6 chapters.Chapter 1 is the introduction. It points out research background, purpose, significance, contents, and methods.Chapter 2 is the literature review. It reviews the relevant foreign and domestic researches and theories, which lays the theoretical foundation for the whole study.Chapter 3 is the Generality. It introduces the general of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University and Chinese major in the University.Chapter 4 is the empirical research. It investigates the current situation on Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University of Thai Chinese professional development, with the help of questionnaire, as well as, it analyzes the causes of the formation on the basis of current situation and interview.Chapter 5 is the countermeasure part. It offers some practical suggestions to achieve in Thai Chinese professional development which are based on the investigated results and some related theories.Chapter 6 is the ending. It summarizes the major findings and the limitations of this study, and proposes the expectations for other researchers in the future.Through this investigation, the author has a certain understanding of the current situation of Thai Chinese professional development in a Thai university, it is urgent to solve the problems of Thai Chinese professional development. In order to avoid problems in the quantity of Thai Chinese teacher and the quality of Chinese teaching, we have to urgent develop Thai Chinese teacher to improve the quality of Chinese teaching in a Thai university.
