Su Shi, a very renowned scholar in Chinese Song Dynasty, wrote a large number of poems, more than four thousand poetries and three hundred ci-poetry contained, which polished his great achievements in every arts field such as poetry, prose, calligraphy and painting. Su Shi is one of outstanding representatives in Northern Song literature and his poem attracts many translators, so that they distinguish themselves to transmit our Chinese ancient culture to other countries. Chinese contemporary writer Lin Yutang said,"There had to be one Su Shi, but there could not be two."(qtd. in Xu Yuanchong, 2007: 29 )The translation of literary style causes more and more attention. Meanwhile, because of the fuzziness and discontinuity of style, the style translation has been discussed continuously. They discuss the questions such as whether the style can be translatable or not and how to reproduce the style. So the style becomes an important symbol to evaluate the quality of literary translation. Based on the stylistic markers theory proposed by Liu Miqing, the style of Su Shi's poems can be studied through the comparative analysis of different versions.This thesis is composed of six chapters. Chapter One introduces the significance, purpose and structure of this thesis. Chapter Two gives us a brief introduction to Su Shi and his poem. In Chapter Three the author mainly talks about style and stylistic markers theory. Chapter Four and Chapter Five are the main body of this thesis. With the help of stylistic markers theory including formal markers and non-formal markers, the stylistic features of Su Shi's poem are analyzed. In Chapter Four formal markers are analyzed in Su Shi's poem in the perspective of stylistic markers theory. In Chapter Five the author analyzes non-formal markers in Su Shi's poem in the perspective of stylistic markers theory. The author mainly chooses Xu Yuanchong's version as examples. Chapter Six is the conclusion of this thesis.
