Research On The Community Participation Based Rural Curture Heritage Protect And Tourism Develop

China's rural cultural heritage is an important part of cultural accumulation. Withthe rapid development of rural tourism,the protection of rural cultural heritage as wellas the research and development on tourism have become increasingly important andshow more practical significance. Community residents,as masters of heritage sites,whose involvement will be an effective way to promote to achieve the values ofcultural heritage. This paper,on the basis of stakeholder,social capital and thesustainable development theory,illustrates the status of cultural heritage protectionand tourism development in Qingcheng town in Yuzhong County,Gansu Province,and also explores ideas to resolve the problem.The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part presents an overview of thebackground of the paper,research significance on this topic,as well as addresses adetailed statement on research results of community participation in tourism both athome and abroad. The second part discusses an investigation about status of culturalheritage protection and tourism development in Qingcheng town,analyzing theproblems being. The third part concerns theoretical practicality of cultural heritageprotection and development in the aspect of social capital,i.e. by taking a goodadvantage of the social capital in Qingcheng town,increasing the residents'rights inpolitics,economics and society while engaging in the local tourism development.Thus more economic benefits can be obtained by the residents,in return,they willvoluntarily protect local cultural heritage. Meanwhile,the development pattern,witha combination of an ecological museum and a village carnival,can be started out. Thefourth part centers around some exploring thinkings about sustainable development inthis town.The paper demonstrates scientific of sustainable development of tourismand then put forward some constructive suggestions on community participatin inheritage conservation and tourism development in Qingcheng town.This paper introduces social capital theory to community participation,solvingthe problem that community residents have no enough rights to involve themselves intourism development.
