Gannan Tibetan area is located in the south of in Gansu Province and northeast edge of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Since ancient times, this area is a multi-ethnic living and activities areas, There have been Qiang, Tuyuhun, Tubo, Dangxiang, and other ancient peoples lives and breeds in this area. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, A large number of Hui and Han people moved into this area,With the local Tibetan constitute the distribution pattern of this area in morden times. Based on a special strategic position in this area, Rulers have attached great importance to the governance and development in this region. Ming and Qing Dynasties was be seen as the research object in this paper, based on the results of previous research,this article Described The complex political situation and Unique strategic position In this area during Ming and Qing Dynasties, This article also Summaried the main achievements of all Dynasties before Ming and Qing dynasties and the implementation of political and military strategy which drafted for Tibetan in this area, Especially,this article discussed the Measures,Process and Results of Agricultural and husbandry development activities in order to maintain stability in this area,and this article also gave a Initial investigation about the Agriculture and husbandry production technologies,Production tools,Livestock species,and the trade of Agricultural and husbandry products was also been introduced in this paper, Based on these studies, Author Attempted to Summary the social significance and Ecological Effects of Agricultural and husbandry development activities,at last,the author expect that this article can give some Historical reference to the Development and construction activities in nowdays.
