During Han and Tang Dynasties , the Orthodox Marriage Conception has been gradually established. During this period, the concept of women's marriage has changed. Sui and Tang Dynasties, although the ruler wanted to rebuild the orthodox confucian .Women in reality still enjoyed higher autonomy because of the traditional customs and free atmosphere in early Tang Dynasty.Later,with the National strength droped,the rulers intensed the compulsory enforcement of ethics on women standard and forced women gradually faded out of politics, economic and other territories where the confucianism believed women should not involved in, and then, women attached to men, returned to the traditional family roles. This paper argues that the causes which prompted the evolution of women marriage concept in Tang Dynast are various. Ideological and cultural change in Han and Tang period is the direct cause. Changes in the economic status of women is an important marital foundation about their Evolution of their marriage concept.
