| In the 20 century 20s,30s , the Republic of china was becoming modern society, the background of china was very complicated, the thinking of people was very complicate too. Someone's thinking was new, but the others'was still old. In this particular period, some women went out of the family, they went to the society. They try to seek job, accept education. So the social position of woman was promoting and they became the new power to develop the society. Because some women occupy the job that belonged to the man, this result brought the two parties into drastic competition. In the middle of the republic china, the step of urbanization was speed up sped up. The media industry was becoming prosperous. The types of newspaper and magazine were increasing. So the quantity of magazines belonged to woman were increasing too. Those magazines pay close attention to the problem of woman and provide critical suggestions, so I think these materials were the window of the women's life in the Republic of china. So my essay's main materials were those magazines(20 century 20s,30s). So I chose some kinds of women, investigate their social intercourse in their workplace and home. First, I investigate the intelligentsia's promotion of supporting woman's social intercourse. Second, I research the course that the girl and boy study together in the same school. Third I chose some kinds of professional women (schoolmarm,workingwoman,chambermaid firm and organ woman ), research their social intercourse in work place. Fourth, I research the women's public activities(participating in politics,fighting for legal rights,providing help for refugees,supporting help for the soldiers).Fifth ,I introduce the new kinds of amusements of city women and their performance in these new places. Sixth I research the changing of woman's notion including love and marriage when the society accept woman' social intercourse. |
