This paper aims at explaining the basic characteristics of technical writing,lexically and syntactically in particular, for second-language learners, so as tohelp them overcome problems in practical communication. A brief analysis oftechnical writing is made from the point of view of style. Through thediscussion on some reasonable accesses to clear, objective and pleasantwritings, the author tries to assist second-language learners to find properways to excellent word choice, smooth sentence-composing, and successfulexpression in their technically related working experience.
