On Mystic Culture In Shang And Xi Zhou Dynasty

In order to further study the cultural features in Shang and Xi Zhou Dynasty, the author uses the methods of history and sociology to deeply study the society at that time. The study directed by historical materialism of Marxism is based on bines or tortoise shells, epigraphy and ancient documents. The thesis proves mysticism was the most important features of culture in Shang and the primary period of Xi Zhou, and analyses the mystic cultural features different developing stages. Meanwhile from the aspects of history, politics, economics and culture, the author analyses the reasons of mystic culture's taking form and declining, and tells us the mystic culture played a great role in society's developing. In conclusion, transiting from mystic to Humanism was the common trend of culture's developing.
