There are 400 million children in our country now, the future of our motherland lies on the fact that they could grow healthily and get all-sided development. Hunting after the best material and best way to educate children is 揷ontribute to our most valuable offspring, to our future.?Ye Shengtao) How to bring the function and value of children literature into play, push comprehensive education forward and then improve children抯 ability and level? This is a big problem that we should treat seriously and study earnestly. This article expatiate from the views of children literature and children education upon educational function and value. It is indeed a problem with practical meaning and academic value. Under the guidance of kidology and theory of modem education, this article takes existing educational problems into consideration in the course of discussion. It illuminates these problems by the ways of analysis, induction, illustration and so on, points out the function and effect of children literature in the aspects of enhancing mental endurance, fostering moral character, boosting aesthetic ability. This article holds strong directive value to kindergareners and primary school teachers when they carry through the teaching of children literature.
