An Analysis Of The Translated Children's Literature In Monthly Novel

By an analysis of the translated children's literature in Monthly Novel, this paper tries to review the existing features of emphasizing on the educational function of children's literature since Chinese children's literature emerged, meanwhile, it also focuses on the neglectful"the meaning of the meaningless",which said by Zhou Zuoren,that is the express of the spirit of games, function of entertainment and emotion of aesthetics. And this paper consists of five parts.The first part is an introduction. It aims to make a brief analysis of the role translated children's literature play on the occurrences of Chinese children's literature, and also makes an overview of the research of translated children's literature in Monthly Novel ,The second part is the first chapter of this paper. It summarizes the features of translated children's literature in Monthly Novel overall: more than the original ones in number; focusing on the translation of allegory, Russian literature, Japanese literature, and fairy tale of Hans Christian Andersen, even analyzing the reasons.The third part is the second chapter. Beginning from the translated children's literature's emphasizing on the theme of"for life"in Monthly Novel, it rearranges the development and creative practice of the educational theory in Chinese children's literature.The fourth part is the third chapter. It begins with the translation of"the meaning of the meaningless"which has always been neglected in children's literature translation, and reviews the development and creative practice of this theory in Chinese children's literature.The fifth part is the conclusion of this paper. It mainly makes a summery of the above, and furthermore, the writer predicts the future development of Chinese children's literature.
