Man has entered a high-speed information society with his vast speed knowledge revolution. Facing such a society, the Central Party called: Reform the model of intellectual-training, from preparations for examinations education system to a all aspect quality education system. With the vast economic development, China is meeting more chances to do international business with English-speaking countries. If we want to get our position in the competitive international business affairs, and carry on an even broader opening policy, we will have to own a large number of intellectuals with revolutionary ideas, quick-response and a master at the English language. However ,our present teaching in middle and senior high school is not satisfactor~'. Most of the schools are still exercising the traditional English teaching approach---English grammar translation method. "Low ability with high score". "DumbfoundEnglish" can be seen here and there, which can't meet the requirements of our present reform and opening to the world. In the last few years, many English teachers and researchers have fully realized that the traditional teaching method could not arouse the students' interest. Our vice-premier Li Lanqing pointed out on June,28d3,1996, "Our present foreign language teaching level and approach have such problems as more time is spent, and poor results the students get, which we should pay more attention to them and must have a great revolution." So, we English teachers have the glorious task to improve our English teaching approach. Some teachers and experts have already done some successful work,, but most of them are trying to find a better way to teach well or just doing teaching. That means just doing working skills----experience. They did not touch the most important field. Thereby, we are bringing up this approach-Double Interactive International Activity English Approach, by which we can let students have more time and room to manage by themselves. And have chances to develop themselves and we'll have much brighter aspect in the future. Under such a teaching environment, students have their own ideas, and they can do what they think is useful for them.This research paper consist of six parts. The first part is to deal with the reason ~rhy bringing up the Double Interactive International English Approach and its true theoretical value. The second part deals with the experiment aim ,guide-idea and teaching model. The third part deals with the experiment contents, method and process. The fourth part introduces the results of teaching and learning by using this approach. The fifth part is to raise some questions, suggestions and my own ideas on the approach, The last part is mainly references for this paper and the author's thanks to his advisor and other experts.
