Research On The Distribution Characteristics And Interaction Between Urban Living Space And Resident Activity Space

As a place of daily life for urban dwellers,the city always reflects the interactive relationship between the urban geographic background and dwellers’ activities and behaviors.The rapid urbanization process has caused significant changes in urban space.It has also led to a series of urban problems such as the mismatch of living space and living service industry space,the dislocation of occupation and residence space,the differentiation of urban material living space and the actual activity space of dwellers.Therefore,exploring the distribution characteristics of urban living space and resident activity space and the interactive relationship between the two will help regulate and optimize structure in urban space.This paper takes the central urban area of Hohhot as the research area.In view of man-land relationship theory and space-behavior interaction theory,applying network open big data and urban planning data,nuclear density analysis,Ripley’s K function,Ga2 SFCA,UNA on Rhino 6 explores the distribution characteristics of living space in the study area.Using statistical analysis method,population center of gravity movement trajectory and job-living balance index to analyze the temporal and spatial characteristics of dwellers’ activities and the relationship between urban job-living balance.Using geographic detectors to analyze interactive relationship between living space and dwellers activity space.This article mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)The center of gravity of the distribution of residential quarters and various life service industries is within the second ring road,and the long semi-axis is northeast-southwest.The spatial distribution of residential quarters and various life service industry outlets shows obvious center-peripheral characteristics,and there are multiple high-density centers.There are differences in the agglomeration characteristics of residential communities and life service industries at different spatial scales.Among them,the concentration of life services is the highest,and the concentration of public transportation services is the largest.(2)Under different travel distances,the accessibility levels of various life service industries are quite different,and the spatial distribution is uneven;with the increase of travel time,the accessibility of various life service industries has gradually shown a "single center" distribution pattern,and has shown an obvious trend of declining circles.(3)The spatial distribution of urban green ecological space accessibility is uneven,with obvious spatial polarization characteristics.With the increase of travel time,the spatial difference of accessibility tends to be obvious,showing the spatial distribution characteristics of low center,high surroundings,low in the north and high in the south,and low in the west and high in the east.(4)The higher the density of the active population,the smaller the corresponding area.Among them,the area of the high-heat zone and the sub-heat zone has experienced four stages of "rapid rise-steady rise-fluctuating rise-steady decline";the area of the general density zone has experienced two stages of "rapid rise-stable maintenance";the area of low density zone has experienced Two stages of "maintaining stability-decreasing slightly fluctuating".The gathering area of the activity space is mainly distributed within the second ring,and the degree of aggregation gradually decreases from the first ring to the outside.Among them,the distribution areas of the high-heat and sub-heat areas that can best characterize the activity gathering space do not have an obvious multi-center distribution pattern.The trajectory of the center of gravity of residents’ activities is distributed in and around the campus of Inner Mongolia University,and the range of the trajectory on working days is larger than that on non-working days.The overall job-residential relationship in the study area is balanced.Only the Nanhu area is a residential-oriented area,and the Yulong Industrial Park area,the East Railway Station area,and the Southeast Industrial Park are employment-oriented areas.(5)The distribution of urban material living space has an impact on the spatial distribution of residents’ activities.Among them,the material space that characterizes the living standard indicators,commercial space,the functional nature of the urban area,and the attributes of the surrounding area is the main reason for the spatial differentiation of residents’ activities,and the material space that characterizes the urban intention perception,traffic accessibility,population distribution of residential quarters,and environmental quality Material space is the secondary reason for the spatial differentiation of residents’ activities.(6)The distribution of residents’ activity space will also have an impact on the layout of urban living spaces,mainly in the future planning and layout of living spaces in the downtown area of Hohhot.
