In the thesis, what was analyzed is Si'xian opera that appeared in Zheng'ding and Shi'jiazhuang in He'bei. It is a kind of ancient opera that is quite popular in most part of He'bei and Shan'xi province .It belongs to the Xian'suo aria system. Its aria was gradually coming to be by absorbing a lot of folk music with ballad in Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties as its base.The aria of Si'xian opera has the Ban'shi aria as its chief aria pattern, and has some aria coming from the Qu'pai too, which reflects the transition quality of aria pattern of opera from Qu'pai to Ban'qiang. Si'xian opera has two forms in Ban'shi aria: one is based on Qu'pai Sua'haier; the other is based on the above-below sentence. Most of its Qu'pai aria were folk music which were popular in the north China in the period of Yuan Ming and Qing dynasty. Si'xian opera can be divided into four schools according to their difference in style. The four schools have the same quality because they have the same structure in word and similar aria. But they were developing in different area and affected by different culture, so they all have their own style.Music is part of culture. People always construct use spread and develop their own art of music according to their own cultural tradition. By the study in aria of Si'xian opera, we can find it embodies many cultural matters and the people's spirit, and in a level it is a polymer of the two area's culture.
