On The Land Revolution Of Chuan Shan Soviet Distric In The 30's Of The 20th Century

Chuan Shan Soviet District is an revolution base,which was established by the forth group of Chinese Red Army during the second civil war.Chuan shan area has a complicated geography,and natural condition,which,provids,on one hand, beneficial condition to set up the revolution base and open the guerrilla war,on the other hand,disadvantageous condition to harm the long term existence of the Red Army and the consolidation of its political power.In the 20's and 30's,the social conflict was unprecedentedly sharp,due to the separatist regime,warlords, tangled warfares and the cruel control and oppression made by the governors,landlords,army officials,bandits,and usurers upon the people here.The disadvantages of this area,such as,the land's unequal occupation,low production,and unreasonable allotment'severely restrict the development of social production,and impede the improvement of people's living condition and the establishment,consolidation,and development of the revolution base.So,the Land Revolution was necessary.During the two years and four months of the existence of the revolution base(from Dec,29,1932 to April,21,1935),it set up and carried out the revolution rules.The rules claimed that the revolution base must depend on the tenant-peasants and the poor peasants,unite the middle rich peasants,object the rich peasants,wipe out the landlords,and develop the agriculture,according to the combination between the actual circumstance of the Chuan Shan revolution base and the land law of Chinese Soviet Republic.Under the guide of the revolution rules,the party and government set up a series of policy,and adopted many methods to carry out the Land Revolution.The Land Revolution of Chuan Shan district has not only obtained the outstanding achievements,but also had serious limitations and disadvantages.The Land Revolution destroyed the old feudal system of land ownership,liberated and promoted the agricultural production of this area,and changed the structure of classes and power.So many liberated peasants were volunteer to join and support the army,and took part in the construction of the new area.These efforts strengthened the revolution base.However,the Land Revolution also madeserious"left"mis-takes,such as, the class antagonism was started with great enthusiasm,the working manners rongh and simple,the speed was too fast,and the theories was not connected with practice.The Land Revolution of Chuan Shan area is the important subject for the Chinese modern history and the history of Chinese Communist Party.The analysis and study of the Land Revolution of this area have important academic value and theoretical meaning for us to get a correct understanding of the interrelations among the land revolution,armed struggle and the construction of base area,and the protracted nature and complexity of china's revolution.It also helps to reveal profoundly the regularity and features of china's revolution.
