A Study Of Yinqie In 30 Volumes Of ZiZhiTongJianShiWen

The sounds of Song Dynasty is an important part of the sounds of Chinese language. The history of Chinese language is divided into four periods by Mr. Xiang Xi(向熹). In his divisions, "Zhong Gu" (中古) is from 4th century to 12th century, prophase is Liu Dynasty, metaphae is Tang Dynasty, anaphase is Song Dynasty. Chinese language begin to brew new and huge change in Nansong Period. Neoteric period is from 13th century to 20th century, Yuan, Ming, Qing Dynasty namely. Thereout, the sounds changes of Nansong Period is a connecting link between Beisong Period and Yuan Dynasty, which reflects the transition and the conversion of ZhongGu sounds system to neoteric sounds system. It is significative for us to study the soundschanges of Nansong Period because of its character of evolvement and transfer. (《Conciseness Of History Of Chinese Language》《简明汉语史》) 1970's till now, the sounds study of Song Dynasty achieve a huge success, symbolized with the study of sounds of Song rhyme of Song Ci and phonetic notation in ancient books.However, the study on the phonetic notation in Song Dynasty has not been so fully undertaken.The whole 37 works of phoneticnotation in Song Dynasty has been studied by my tutor——Doctor SunJianYuan,《30 volumes of ZIZhiTongJianShiWen》(资治通鉴释文三十卷) belongs to the study domain of phonetic notation in Song Dynasty. Our study on this may dig this domain and fill up the blanks of the sounds study in Song Dynasty.Findings in 《30 volumes of ZiZhiTongJianShiWen》 are reported as follows: 1 , Different from the phonological system of Guang Yun (广韵) ,the common Chinese in Song Dynasty changed a lot .(1)The classification of initial was simplified:Sonore changed into sourde. The initials of Zhi (知) ,Zhang (章) , and Zhuang (庄) had been assimilated,and so had Ying (影) ,Yi (疑) ,Yun (云) . (2)The rhyme categories get together Jiang She (江摄) and Dang She (宕摄) has amalgamated, and so had Zeng She (曾摄) and Geng She (梗摄) .The amlgamation of Xie She (蟹摄) and Zhi She (止摄) is complicated.(it has been interpretated in the thesis)In some syllables,-g changed into-n,-g changedinto-m.Ru Sheng Yun Wei (入声尾韵) -p,-t,and-k disppeared,and amalgamated according to the same of main vowels.2, 《30 volumes of ZiZhiTongJianShiWen》 remain some initial consonant characters of forestall period of Qie Yun (切韵) :the confusion of tongue initial consonant and up-tongue initial consonant; the confusion of light labial and heavy labial.3, The author of is a man of MeiShan (眉山) in SiChuan Province,his dialect belongs to KeGan (客赣) Dialect, therefore, there are many examples in 《30 volumes of ZiZhiTongJianShiWen》 reflect the characters of KeGan Dialect:the confusion of the Kai Kou (开口) syllables in Jia She (假摄) with He Kou (合口) , some parts of -n confuse with some parts of -g, some parts of -m confuse with some parts of-g; the combination of Cong (从) and Xie (邪) , Xin (心) and Shu (书) , Ri (日) and Ying (影) .4, There has some errors in 《30 volumes of ZiZhiTongJianShiWen》 . At the last part of the thesis, we have corrected them in grapheme, acceptation and pronunciation.In addition, this paper, follows by the way of my tutor, distinguishes between the common Chinese and dialects in phonological documents, and investigates and interprets them philologically.
