On Economic Ethics Construction Under The Market Economy Of Our Country

Since the practice of market economy, many problems have occurred in our country's economic field. Superficially, they have resulted from extreme pursuit of short-termed economic successes and quick profits, but underneath they have originated from overlooking and violating economic ethics. So it's of great importance to study the economic ethic construction under market economy. This thesis chiefly analyses the problems in three aspects. The first aspect covers the reasons of the problems of economic ethics. The thesis analyses the interior and exterior reasons of them. The interior reasons involve the dislocation of values, the absence from the economic ethics' standardization, ethics construction behind the situation and inefficient ideological and moral education. The exterior reasons have the immoral means that market economy possibly breeds under certain circumstances, power corruption and the system disadvantages, ineffective law enforcement and so on. The second aspect is about economic ethics' construction of theory and standardization. The thesis first analyses the prerequisite to be considered in establishing economic ethics. Then, by following the course of development of history, it examines relationship between economy and ethics in order to gain some enlightenment. Afterwards, it expounds the dialectical relationship between market economy and ethics. Then , it focuses on principles of economic ethics and their chief standards. Finally, it emphasizes the education of economic ethics in order to turn the theory and standardization of economic ethics into the belief. The third aspect involves legality guarantee of economic ethics. It is dealt with over how to make use of the authoritativeness of laws and legal system to provide powerful backing for economic ethics construction. The organic combination of legality and ethics will be as effective as treating a disease by looking into both its root cause and symptoms. Through discussing the above points, the thesis aims at shaping the frame of economic ethics construction characterized by an integrated theoretical system, an inspiring mode of ideological and moral education and a sound and powerful legal system so as to really manifest that "rule by law" and "rule by virtue" are general plans that complement each other and can't be unbalanced, and so as to ultimately realize the "win-win" of the development of market economy and advancement of moral principles.
