Female Consciousness In Wang An Yi's Novels

Wang An yi is an extraodinary author in the literary circles in the New Era. She maintains her hearty literary creation and depiction strategy and goes up to a fresh state. Since there have been so much diverse explanation on her complicated and various texts,this thesis chooses gender's angle of female consciousness to analyze her works,from fleet to deep,surface to inner,non-consciousness to consciousness. Meanwhile,the thesis discusses Wang An yi how to use female discourse to clean the influence of phalluscentric's cultural supremacy,dispel male narrative,start a new special and revolutionary writing practice to correspond to the feminism narrative strategy and make the female literature turn to a new leaf.The second chapter discusses the developing course of female consciousness from searching man to affirming nature gender,to seeking after the component of gender society from the view of gender consciousness. This segment mainly follows the progress of her novels writing,which is divided into three characteristic periods inchronological order:awakening period of female consciousness,including her works in the early and middle 1980's. I emphasize four novels here;emergence of her female desire,called the establishing period of nature gender,including the works in the late 1980's,I choose the series of /x Three Loves " to explain it;exceeding period of probing into the social structure of gender,including the works in the 1990's. I stress " I love Bill " ," MiNi " and " Chang Hen ge " such works.From the angle of discourse consciousness,the third chapter is to analyze Wang An yi's novels how to respond text's consciousness. Being a female discourse,she tries to break loose from the cultural chains of phalluscentric,rebel the female written condition in the history and the discourse puzzle. This chapter is divided into two parts:subversion and separation of phallus discourse;writings on female experience and narrative.In the last chapter,this thesis restates the significance of female consciousness,such a gender critical angle and sums up her important status in Chinese female literary history and her outstanding contribution to Chinese female literature.
