On the basis of the research of 616 students in Chongqing High schools of different levels, adopting the methods of measuring and related analysis. The paper studies the relationship between the problem behaviors of high school students and their personality characteristics and the nurturing methods of parents. The results are as follows:1. The study discovers that there is no obvious relevance between the various problem behaviors of high school students and individual personality characteristics, but there exists obvious relevance between some particular problem behaviors and different personality traits. The relevance between the problem behaviors of junior students and their personality characteristics is higher than that of senior students.2. There exists obvious relevance between the problem behaviors of high school students and the nurturing methods of parents. The indifferent methods of father' s nurturing will not easily cause the learning problem behavior, but the authoritarian and authoritative nurturing methods of father will be prone to cause the physical and psychological problems of children. The indifferent methods of mother' s nurturing will not easily cause the learning and interpersonal problem behavior, but some other methods will easily cause the physical and psychological problems of children. Theauthoritarian nurturing methods will be prone to cause the moral problem behavior. The nurturing methods of parents have different effects on different types of high school students in degree: the effects on junior students are much greater than that of senior students, the effects on key school students are much greater than that of common school students. The nurturing methods of father have a greater effect on female students than that of male students, the nurturing methods of mother have a greater effect on male students than that of female students.According to the above study result, we think that in family and school education we should take different countermeasures to prevent and correct the problem behaviors of High school students, totally thinking of environment and psychology that obviously affect the problem behaviors of high school students.
