Wang Fanzhi's 王梵志 and Hanshan's 寒山(including Shide's 拾得) are colloquial representations, of early Tang Dynasty and they are also two of the most important resources on the phonology of the Middle Chinese. Some scholars have studied on the rhythms of their poems separately, but they need go on study now, for those studies were performed at lest eleven years ago and bounded by the resources and conditions of the time. Until now no one has put them together and compared them. This article is based on Mr. Xiang Chu's critical interpretation and textual criticism works on the two poets and gets some new conclusions, for the textual criticism that he practiced rigorously is mostly convincing.
