This paper applies the "Three Levels" theory and the "Big Three Angles" theory to completely explore the "You(有)+VP" construction in the Fuzhou dialect. The article first points out the syntactic, semantic and pragmatic functions. Secondly, it compares the "You(有) + VP" construction in the Fuzhou dialect in regards to the construction in Mandarin Chinese. Thirdly, it points out the process of the evolution of the "You (有)+ VP" construction in ancient Chinese and explains the motivation and mechanism of its evolution, thus the origin of the "You(有 )+VP" construction is concluded. Fourthly, it shows the origin and characteristics of the Fuzhou dialect, While explaining why the pattern could be conserved in this particular dialect for a so long period. Finally, it gives a forecast of the developing prospect of the sentence pattern in MandarinDuring the study, the author pays close attention to the relation and distinction during syntactic, semantic and pragmatic functions. The author heeds to the following rules: (1) Combine the meaning and form (2) Combine synchronic and diachronic and (3) Combine explanation and description.
