The study of the evolution of commonly used words has always been the core content of the study of Chinese vocabulary history.A large number of cases are worth exploring.It is necessary to further expand from the perspective of research and theoretical methods.Based on the historical corpus and dialect data,this paper makes a detailed investigation and description of the diachronic evolution and synchronic distribution of this group of words.On this basis,it uses the theoretical methods of stylistics and typology to expand the research on related problems.The full text is divided into six parts:The “Introduction” mainly expounds from three aspects: research content,object and research status,research significance and methods,and materials.The first chapter is based on the dialect data of Li Rong’s 6-volume and 42 volume Dictionary of Modern Chinese Dialects,Xu Baohua,Miyoda Ichiro’s10-volume Dictionary of Chinese Dialects and Cao Zhiyun’s Atlas of Chinese Dialects(Vocabulary Volume),investigates the distribution of the meaning of “wear”in various dialect areas and language points,and summarizes three historical evolution levels of the meaning of “wear”.The second chapter makes a qualitative and quantitative analysis and Research on the core members of the meaning of "wear" in different periods on the basis of the literature review of the meaning of "wear",and investigates their use and distribution in the northern and southern literature of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,which is compared with the "vertical" and "horizontal" of the meaning of "wear" in the first chapter.In addition,it also discusses the important influence of clothing change on the meaning of "wear".The third chapter examines the semantic words of “wear” from three aspects:cross era,cross dialect and cross language,that is,a comparative study on the semantic expansion of concepts,words or combinations,morphological and syntactic features.The fourth chapter selects the three works of the Ming and Qing Dynasties-the Water Margin,Xing Shiyan and the Biography of Flowers on the Sea,analyzes the corresponding distribution of the meaning words of “wear” in different styles,specifically from the two aspects of narrative style,dialogue style and character identity,and confirms the literature language and dialect.The “conclusion” part is a brief summary of the previous content and explains the shortcomings of this paper.
