Ling Shuhua was a representative figure of the first generation of female author group in China, whose style of novels was unparalleled enriched the creative experiences of Chinese modern novels.This thesis aims at her novel creation, analyzing the three sections of Temple of flower , Women and Little brothers, and in order to explore her novels 'ideological characteristics and artistic style.Part one has expounded a biographical note on the author and her creative survey. By the analysis of the two kinds of characters created: women and children, part one has pointed out that her novels reflected her individuality in thought compared to the other female authors in her age and excavated the deep ideological implication in her novels.At first, part two has simple analyzed the gentle style of her novels and the forming reasons, pointing out that this style creatively accepted the artistic originality influenced by Chekhov and Mansfiled , discussing her novels' artistic characteristics embodies in the style of narrative, structure features, artistic conception-making, etc.
