The Jia-wu war between Ching Dynasty and Japan was not only an veryimportant turning in the history of politic, economy, ideology and society, but also acritical cause in the military system of modern China. The article emphasized on thechange of military logistic system about Jia-wu war, including what effect the waron the change. Before the Jia-wu war, because of the attack from the west militarytechnology and in order to suppress the Tai-Ping Heavenly kingdom revolution, theChing Dynasty's military logistic system had made some progress after the opiumwar. In the Yang-wu movement, the military logistic became as well as the West'.But this couldn't cover the Ching Dynasty's military's limitation on the logisticsystem: There weren't unified systems and their logistic supply was in a mess. Onthe one hand which resulted in the failure in the war on 1894, on the other handaccelerated the reformation and establishment of the modern logistic system at last.But in some way, the military reformation was not isolated, which was inconnection with political and economic system in late Ching Dynasty. In the otherwords, the political and economic system had influenced and restricted thedevelopment of the modern military logistic system.
