A Multi-Dimensional Study Of Word-Class Shift

There is a view that word-class shift is widespread in ancient Chinese language and not common in morden Chinese .Most of grammarians pay attention to the word-class shift in ancient Chinese language but underestimate it in morden Chinese language. So the study of the word-class shift of modern Chinese is relatively weak.This paper studys the shift of verb,noun and adjective in morden Chinese language.And we intends to make a multi-dimensional study from syntactic, semnatical ,pragmatic and cognitive angles in order to build a frame of word-class shift in modern Chinese language.
