A Study On The Coast Defence Of Guangdong In The Earlier Stage Of Qing Dynasty

Defence was the coast defence basic strategy in the earlier stage of Qing Dynasty, and this also was the basic guiding theory of disposing the coast defence in the place in Guangdong . In earlier Qing Dynasty, Guangdong's coast was divided in strategy into three parts ,the east ,the west and the middle, of regarding yamens of Guangzhou general's yamen and governor of Guangdong and Guangxi Provinces was the supreme leadership institues, Guangdong water( land) prefect yamen was the direct coast defence military leaders.
