| The Weijin period is an importance in which ancient Chinese language turns into medieval times Chinese language. Yiqing Liu's Shi Shuo Xin Yu is a notes novel, nearing to vernacnlar speech at that time, can reflect the language feature. As a result, Shi Shuo Xin Yu has important position in grammar study. Investigating and researching its tone adverb can discover and tally up its new characteristics, can do some work for the phasical and the whole history of grammar.This text adoptes the comparision method in investigative process. Comparing the tong adverb in Shi Shuo Xin Yu and Menzi, combing with other books' instances during that history, can take a wide view of the tong adverb's development, can tally up its some regulations in inhebit and develop.Based on comparision, this text focuses on the phenomenons of many adverbs in a same category and an adverb in different categories. And by differentiating and analyzing some tong adverbs, we foresee in small place their development inclination. And, we affirm Shi Shuo Xin Yu has important meaning in studying modern Chinese betterly because we find its tone adverbs have close relation with modern Chinese language.This text is divided into three parts:The first part:Define the tone adverb, divide them into several categories,and enumerate the tone adverbs in Shi Shuo Xin Yu and Menzi.As to classification, according to the difference of the tone, this text puts forward its own project in the light of clear and accurate in meaning and generalization stronger principle.The second part: Compare the tone adverbs in the two books. This part has three parts:(a)Enumerate the tone adverbs which in Menzi but not in Shi Shuo Xin Yu, and analyse in my power the reason of their disappearance.(b)Enumerate the tone adverbs which in Menzi and in Shi Shuo Xin Yu.We discover the tone adverbs in Shi Shuo Xin Yu inherit from Menzi selectively, and make new development.(c) Enumerate the tone adverbs which not in Menzi but in Shi Shuo Xin Yu,whichinclude the monosyllabic tone adverb and syllable tone adverb.The emergence of the syllable tone adverb in Shi Shuo Xin Yu is a distinctive characteristic,and represents the inclination of language's development.The third part:Investigate the phenomenons of many adverbs in a same category and an adverb in different categories in Shi Shuo Xin Hv.We discover there will be typical tone adverb in a category,and discover the same adverb in different categories prefer to have only one meaning.At the same time,the categories' choosing the typical tone adverb and the tone adverbs' preferring right to might oneness hi meaning have mutual influence and promotion.Passing the inquisitions and analyzes of the three parts,full text contents and author's views can be generalized for bellow four aspects:(a)The tone adverbs in Shi Shuo Xin Yu inherit from Menzi selectively,and have their new characteristics and new development.There exsits differences of system.(b)The tone adverbs in Shi Shuo Xin Yu have the characteristic of transfer.The temporary existence of a few tone adverbs makes Shi Shuo Xin Yu has the strong ages special features.(c)The phenomenons of many tone adverbs in a same category and a tone adverb in different categories in Shi Shuo Xin Yu are very outstanding.The former appears that each tone category chooses typical tone adverb,the latter appears the tone adverbs prefer right to might oneness in meaning,and the two phenomenons affect and promote each other both.(d)The tone adverb in Shi Shuo Xin Yu have close relation with modern Chinese language,so study them benefits to research,understand,and use the modern Chinese language betterly.The textual meaning consists in:(a)The current research of the phasical and whole history of grammar is still very not enough,so is the research of each book.In regard to the Weijin period,although there have some grammar books have inquiried into some problems,but have not involved the tone adverb or just order to it.So,the textual research has function of fill up...
